This is a first monograph of DUPLEX, a firm started in Zurich in 2007, now with offices in Paris and Hamburg. They are famed for their residential housing projects, in particular for the relationship to urban planning and to community.  Five projects - student housing, urban living, living with noise, living at the edge of town, more than housing - are presented, in research, image, plan, materiality, concept.
