About Us

We are a bookshop, set up now in a 100 year old brick three story warehouse, in Post Alley, Pioneer Square, between South Main and South Jackson Streets. Look for the bright red sign, on the brick wall, at the water side of the parking lot. We are in the alley, between Alaska Way on the west and First Avenue on the east.

We carry in print and out of print titles on architecture, design, landscape design, typography, graphics and commercial design.

We are also a design shop, with a careful selection of pens, pencils, leadholders, sharpeners, leads, erasers, markers - Lamy, Caran d'Ache, Rotring, Craft Design Technology. There are sketch pads and water color pads, notepads and spiral pads, drawing paper and tracing paper. We feature Leuchtturm, Rhodia, Fabriano, Nava, Rollbahn, Midori papers.

There are Tivoli radios, Skultuna candlesticks, Max Bill watches, Aalto vases, Orskov glassware, Alessi wine openers. We have Flos Bellhop lamps and Arne Jacobsen alarm clocks. Browse, order and get a sense of what we do.

For the moment, we are open to browse Monday through Saturday from 10 to 5.
