We are proud to present the first complete exhibit of Michael Burns' (American, 1942) series of architectural photographs of downtown Seattle, shot from 1978 - 1980.

In all, there are over seventy original photographs: all titled, dated, hand-spotted and signed by Michael. Each one is a monument to the best of the city, featuring some of the most important architectural compositions from the period, and animated by what Michael called
"...that subtle and persuasive resonance with the instant, the light, framing, meaning and configuration."

Also available is a portfolio series of ten silver gelatin contact prints, mounted on acid-free museum board, titled "Studio Views", which itself showed at Lina Farris Gallery until 1995.
