Thirty years ago, Braun introduced the AW10, a very slim, near monochrome (but for the yellow second hand) wrist watch. Now Dietrich Lubs, the original designer for the Dieter Rams Studio, has updated the watch. It is still made exclusively in Germany, it is still in two forms, black and silver, but it is now 40mm. Stainless steel housing, genuine leather strap, date, water resistant, quartz movement, mineral glass. Boxed and cased.

A very clear machine, this. Arne Jacobsen table alarm clock. In the two typographic formats, the numbers for the Station clock and the lines for the City Hall version. Made in Denmark by Rosendahl, each clock has a snooze alarm, no ticking and a four second light if you simply touch the surface. Only one button is visible at the back, on and off for the alarm. The batteries and settings are out of sight beneath the back cover, that turns slightly to shut. The numbers were used in the Copenhagen Rail Station clocks - the lines version were used in the Copenhagen City Hall clocks. And still are. Time set to a tabletop.
